Private education and democracy

One day when I served as Chairman of the Assembly Education Catholic Archdiocese of Semarang, Central Java, I was visited by officials Litbank P and K Central Java. So the question is why the reflexive 'private' organized schooling. As far as I tried to look at and examine various sources, the main purpose is to educate the youth of the nation. Intelligence is becoming an important and essential for people / children in question can grow and develop, can accept the truths and virtues of life-saving, which animates 'private groups' is concerned, whether consciously religious or educational groups. Is not each religion has a mission to deliver the safety or welfare of life for everyone, indiscriminately. Bids must be recognized is a new thing, which is not so easy to digest and only those who are smart will easily digest and live it properly. That's where the importance of education or schooling.

From the Catholic vision or mission, let us share the or sharing. We, Catholics or Christians, want to follow Jesus, Saviour of the World. World that is our mission to be congratulated, then there is a world where we feel there has not been saved are called to work. Ignorance is an obstacle to survive or prosper. And I believe the vision of this mission is a common vision. That is the vision of mission in the early 20th century where the priests and Catholics set up schools, long before Homeland stand. The product of education is then to 'fathers of the nation' an intelligent and faithful.

It must be admitted that the organizing of mass education at the beginning it's not too many rules that bind alias democratic. This democratic spirit in accordance with the vision of Catholic education that is "freedom and love" as I try to describe before. In an atmosphere of freedom and love are not many rules. As far as I look from time to time governments have a tendency to want to regulate everything. Is this not contrary to the principle of 'freedom and love'. Again I say here "man / child is held, born, raised / educated" by his parents in and by the love and freedom. In the atmosphere it is also organizing a good education is necessary to arrange. Parents are the first and primary education for their children, then the process of education in schools needs to be there, even absolute, cooperation with parents.
