Grounding Education

Education practitioners such as teachers, lecturers in educational institutions or any formal school, coach (trainer) on the course or workshop or even the guides training (facilitators) in various arenas of non-formal education or education of the people among the workers, peasants and poor people , many are not aware that he was involved in a political struggle and ideology through the education arena. Most people understand education as a noble activity that is always good and always contains a neutral character.

However, the real criticism is even more mature basic education, which enriches the variety of educational models of the search effort, thus giving birth to a wealth of experience in the field of educational practice, and education as part of cultural action and social transformation. Education into an exciting arena, because it is able to engage in the process of social and political change in various social movements who want social transformation and democratization.

It was marked by the emergence of various models of education and training processes are basically grounded in the liberal paradigm in various forms and approaches. The main purpose of education is to identify, formulate, preserve and convey the truth that is: knowledge about the meaning and value of life is fundamentally important. To implement this, one way is through teaching in schools, the school was held for two fundamental reasons: (1) To teach students about how to reason, how to think clearly and orderly, and (2) To deliver the wisdom of a durable of the past.

The success of real education should be supported at least three main components namely the government, schools, and communities. I think that mainly is the government, that is how government policies to improve education. At the macro policy is influenced by political decisions. The problem is how the politics of intellectual education to understand it thoroughly.

Overall aim of education is to identify, formulate, distribute and preserve the truth of the core (the main principles governing the meaning and significance of life). More specifically, the role of schools in the short term is as a social institution that should teach students how to think, how to reason and to meyalurkan best thinking.
