Having been born into the world, mankind is required by God to seek knowledge. It is as embodied in al qur'an first paragraph which reads: IQRA '(Read). This verse mensiratkan that Muslims should be the ones who are smart, and efforts that can be taken to be clever is, must learn to (studying). This is confirmed by the hadith of the Prophet Muhammad, which means "To demand of knowledge is obligatory for men and women". In another hadith which means "Seek knowledge even in the land of China".
Verses and Hadith of the Prophet above reminds us how important the study. God wants us all to be intelligent beings that are not easily fooled and make it easier mensikapi and live in the world.
Furthermore, the process of human education is found through three sources, namely (1) Parent education, (2) education (formal education), and (3) experience.
1. Parent Education
Children are God's mandate to parents (Mother, Father). From Abu Hurairah, the Messenger of Allah said: "Every baby born in a state of nature. Mother-bapaknyalah which makes him Jewish, Christian, or Zoroastrian." (Narrated by al-Bukhari, Muslim, at-Tirmidhi, Ahmad, Malik).
Once the child is born into the world, then the duty of his parents who educate their children to become educated and smart man. Within the meaning of that creativity is closely connected with the parenting provided by parents. Educating children was in essence a real effort on the part of parents to develop the totality of the potential that exists in children. Through education, parents play a role as a mediator between the child and society, between the child with the norms of life, between children and adults and is certainly a vision of their parents. Through education of children in the family will meet the properties of evolving humanity and to learn of the responses it receives.
Provide religious education may be a major factor as early as the formation of character and soul of the child. With religion will be achieved in physical and spiritual balance. Religious education must be instilled from childhood to get children to behave according to religious teachings and a certain character. Religious education has two important aspects: Religious education aims to cultivate the soul, or cloning a condition with a good load regulation in accordance with the teachings of religion, religious education was the fulfillment of the cognitive aspects of the child.
Given the parents (mother and father) is the person most directly interact with their children, then parents should educate children with serious and sincere. Stay away from the upbringing of children who do not educate, misalya since small children have heard the sayings dirty and rough, too spoil the child, who exemplifies the neglectful behavior in worship, and others.
2. School Education (Formal Education)
The second source is the education of school education (Formal Education). In general education as a necessity of life, plays a social role or a support for growth and also guide the journey of humankind, be they individuals, communities, nation and state. Then the position of education becomes an activity that summarizes the long-term interests or the future. Not just in the sense that a general requirement, but as a fundamental requirement. Education is also often referred to as investment in human resources, and as a person's social capital. So it will probably finish, but sustainable. So the talk is to discuss the future of education. And the future is always experiencing tremendous changes.
Long before the education of future specialists Alvin Pufler asserted that education related to future developments. Prophet Muhammad has said: "Educate your children in accordance with his time, because they are different generations of pediatric age with the times you". So it must provide the things associated with growth, change, renewal, and also things that are ongoing. Because life goes on, the handle is actually the same education by addressing the future. Therefore it must be constantly renewed, confirmed and sharpened.
Allah's Apostle Muhammad has said that education begins from infancy to the grave. Then came the term lifelong learning, life long learning, early childhood education, and so on. That academic terms, in practice it is already running. In order for it to be systematic, he built a system, so that each country build its education system. And of course it's all linked to the geographical environment, sospol, religion and others.
In the 45 Constitution, every citizen has the right to be educated even required to obtain a good education services. Because education is for the future that can not be easily predicted by the Constitution certainly can be more predictable. Of course this requires the support facilities and the cost is enormous.
Education in schools will bring more kids to think. The four pillars of education proclaimed by UNESCO to be developed by formal educational institutions (Schools / Universities), namely: (1) Learning to Know (learning to learn), (2) learning to do (learn to do something) in this we are required to skilled in doing something, (3) learning to be (studying to become a person), and (4) learning to live together (learning to live together).
The four pillars of education are expected to be applied by learners after formal education in schools and colleges. Thus, the demands of future education should be directed at improving the quality of intellectual and professional abilities and attitudes, personality and human moral Indonesia in general.
3. Experience
In addition to Parent Education, Formal Education (co-education in schools and universities), the process of education can also be obtained through experience. The wise man said "experience is the best teacher."
The knowledge we gain through experience based on the phenomena we see, we have seen, and we have experienced through the process of interaction with the environment where we are.
That experience did not really have to experience yourself, but, the experience of others is also the best teacher. Mimic the experience of people who are successful will also be better. Some might say it is impossible to find the exact same way. Yes, but we'll find out how people managed to face the obstacles and how to overcome them. For example, on exposure and harsh discipline from parents that they had lost adolescence, disciplined with time, adherence to appointments, go early in the morning when people were still asleep, come home late at night, keep trying something without despair, keep the faith, and still many others.
To meet the future is a process. That's where the role of education. Education never ends, known as Life Long Education. Education is an asset in shaping the future of quality human resources. More and higher one's education the better, even, every citizen is expected to continue lifelong learning. Thus, education is a priority factor that needs to be built and upgraded. "Learn, because god does not want us stupid. God wants us smart." Remember, "Beauty lies in the eternal heights keelokkan adab and science person, not located on the face and clothes." "No one bodo in this world, there are only people who are lazy to study (studying)."
